Hi everyone,

Today day went well again and we’ve progressed again in our work on the chassis.

For the start of the session, the track was still drying and we went out on wet tyres.  It wasn’t really beneficial but necessary in case it rains tomorrow.

We decided to go out on slicks a half hour before the end of the session but the first run was essentially to judge the track conditions, so I went out again with a new tyre for the next run.  It’s cool, I finished on the 4th row ahead of one prototype and I’m satisfied with the work we’ve done since yesterday to progress.

Now I’m waiting to see what the weather is like tomorrow, but it looks like we won’t escape the rain.  In any case, I’ll do everything possible to get a good start and to finish as the 1st CRT.

P.S.  My fiancee is amazing

I’m still not at 100% this weekend, I still have pain in my ribs and my back.   I decided to ride without painkillers today for the first day and I’ll definitely do the same tomorrow – I prefer to save it for the race.

We’re working on different suspension and electronic settings to be competitive tomorrow in the qualifying.  We knew in coming here that it would be difficult to battle with the prototypes, but my main objective is still to be the first CRT.

We were lucky with the weather today, but unfortunately I don’t think it will stay that way for the next two days.

Thank you to everyone for all your support and encouragement, I saw some banners today around the circuit

That was a very difficult race because of the pain that I have on my left side from yesterday’s crash. This morning I got an injection at the Clinica Mobile in order to ride in the warmup and, although I was really sore, I decided that I was going to race. I haven’t broken anything, but even breathing hurts me at the moment.

The opening lap was difficult, because I had no confidence on the bike. It took me a while to gradually find it and to begin to lower my times. Aleix and I were riding together, but then he picked up the pace and I was left fatigued from lap ten onwards. I couldn’t keep up with him. It is a pity that we didn’t get the result that we wanted, but I hope to have a good weekend at Le Mans.

Obviously I’m disappointed because I have 0 points after the first two races and after I have seen my potential with the bike during the practice in dry conditions and the race condition, I was able to race well.

Before the next race in Estoril, I will have an operation to take out one screw in my knee (at the top of the rod) to relieve some pain and to be more comfortable on the bike.
